Dialogue, not discord

In a world increasingly portrayed as black and white, right and wrong, we feel more time in the ‘grey’ spent with thoughtful and considerate dialogue, matters. Grey Matters is a Yukon-based collective dedicated to fostering respectful, non-partisan connections across differing perspectives, recognizing how crucial and in need of support this effort is in today’s increasingly divisive and polarized world.

Learn about our vision, mission, and values.

  • We envision a society where polarization is recognized as a shared challenge — one that demands the same care and attention as housing, health, and climate. We see a future where respectful dialogue and collaborative problem-solving replace division.

  • We help people connect across divides through meaningful dialogue, celebrate and elevate those already building common ground, and share practical resources that strengthen our collective capacity for understanding and problem-solving.

  • - Connection, not correction — understand where people are coming from, especially when we don’t agree

    - Have fun while doing serious work — otherwise, what’s the point?

    - Empathy and understanding — striving to empathize with and understand people’s views

    - Honesty and transparency

    - Civility and respect for all
